The Perspective Collection reflects my overarching artistic process. As an observer, I translate these observations to pen and paper and later to paint and canvas. The paintings within the Perspective Collection mirror what I witness in my surroundings. Often, as we go about our daily lives, we encounter fleeting moments—people holding hands, leaning on one another, exuding confidence near someone intimidating, or sharing a first meeting. Each of these poses we witness embodies body language, conveying feelings and emotions in that specific moment. This particular piece specifically portrays a tender moment between two figures holding hands and leaning towards each other.
Materials:
The materials chosen for the original artwork have been meticulously selected and undergone more than ten years of experimentation and creation.
Acrylic paintings are done with Golden Heavy Body Acrylics. This type of paint has been offered since 1980 and is known for its intense color and rich consistency. Golden Artist Colors’ headquarters and factory are located in New Berlin, New York. Fun fact: this company is employee owned and the paints are safe to use around our precious fur friends, such as Olive.
