Form Invert
Description
Reproductions are made at my studio located in Rhode Island. Designs are carefully digitized from original paintings then printed using a large format fine art Canon printer, the Canon ImagePrograf, and high quality ink. This equipment densely distributes ink in order to render the finest detail in each work of art.
The Canon imagePROGRAF printer is designed to exceed expectations for image quality and color consistency in a large format printer. The high-speed image processing engine achieves a balance between exceptional print quality and has been designed to include intelligent technology for advanced media handling, and improved operational design.
Style options below can be done in custom sizes. Custom sizes are available by contacting me directly with your request.
Canvas
Canvas Prints:
Canvas prints are printed on 22 mil poly/cotton canvas and sprayed with a satin finish coating. Each piece is hand stretched using a gallery wrapped technique so the sides are finished nicely and all staples are hidden in the back.
Canvas Frame:
In addition to the process above the stretch canvas is framed in a black float frame.
Rolled Canvas:
Canvas reproductions have the option to be shipped unstretched and rolled. The reproduction is still coated to protect the work. Each piece will have center marks printed for easier stretching and information sheet to pass along to your local framer or establishment where you are stretching your piece.
Giclee
Giclee prints are printed on premium archival matte paper. This paper is a smooth, neutral-white matte paper for high-quality fine art. It is acid-free for a longer print life with pigment inks and features a heavy weight (230 gsm), thick base (9.5 mil), and an instant-dry coating that resists fingerprints and smudging. I do recommend framing
reproductions properly. You do not want your piece touching the glass. Therefore matting or custom
framing with spacers are options for your piece.
Frame guide for giclee prints:
Giclee Prints are not sold with a frame. I suggest framing your piece with a mat (or custom framing); humidity can affect artwork and it is important the reproduction is not pressed against the glass. The sizes offered fit standard size frames. See below size guide for standard framing:
