The Fluidity collection is full of joyful movement. I create these paintings by dancing with my paintbrush. The idea is to have a lot of movement in each paint stroke that make up the figures. My goal for this collection is to convey the illusion of motion despite the inherent two-dimensionality of the artwork.
Materials:
The materials chosen for the original artwork have been meticulously selected and undergone more than ten years of experimentation and creation.
Acrylic paintings are done with Golden Heavy Body Acrylics. This type of paint has been offered since 1980 and is known for its intense color and rich consistency. Golden Artist Colors’ headquarters and factory are located in New Berlin, New York. Fun fact: this company is employee owned and the paints are safe to use around our precious fur friends, such as Olive.
