I wanted to portray a different perspective on my figures by "zooming in" and emphasizing the brushstrokes and textures. Movement is an important factor with each stroke in this piece as well as the rest of this collection.

The materials chosen for the original artwork have been meticulously selected and undergone more than ten years of experimentation and creation.
Acrylic paintings are done with Golden Heavy Body Acrylics. This type of paint has been offered since 1980 and is known for its intense color and rich consistency. Golden Artist Colors’ headquarters and factory are located in New Berlin, New York. Fun fact: this company is employee owned and the paints are safe to use around our precious fur friends, such as Olive.
