Our present climate can leave us feeling unsteady, swept up in a constant whirlwind of information, conflict, and an overwhelming barrage of energy. In this collection, I sought to reflect that restless motion through the dynamic lines and smudges of charcoal. As I created these pieces, I absorbed the struggles of others, longing for their peace. This concept is mirrored in the artwork, where bold, contrasting lines coexist with soft smudging, creating moments of peace and ease.
